That’s where the Volvo Winter Check comes in. Our free winter check will give your Volvo a complete top-to-toe 25-point check and make sure that it’s ready for safe motoring during the colder months. We’ll even clean it inside and out and include a free Ice Scraper* – so you’ll be ready for whatever comes your way.
Winter Check List
- Check air conditioning for operation & leaks
- Check pollen filter condition
- Check radiator & coolant hoses for condition, security & leaks
- Check condition of brake pads & discs
- Check brake hoses for condition, security & leaks
- Check fan / alternator & PAS belts for condition / security & adjustment
- Check exhaust system for condition & security
- Check handbrake adjustment & operation
- Check steering, suspension & shock absorbers for condition, security & leaks
- Check operation of all washer jets - clean & adjust as required
- Check all internal instruments & controls for operations
- Check engine oil level
- Check coolant anti-freeze strength
- Check coolant level
- Check screen wash fluid level
- Check brake fluid level
- Check clutch fluid level (where applicable)
- Check power assisted steering fluid level
- Check auto transmission fluid level
- Check battery security, electrolyte level and check condition with the Volvo Battery Tester
- Check operation of all external lights
- Check wiper blades for security & condition
- Check all glass & mirrors for cracks / chips
- Check & adjust all tyre pressures including spare
- Check tyres for condition/damage/report depth treads
