About Clive Brook Volvo

My name is Clive Brook and for those of you who don't know me, my journey first began with Volvo as an Apprentice Technician with Olaf Olsen in Huddersfield in October 1982. From there I went on to work for Harratts in Huddersfield and it was always my ambition to own a dealership of my own.

Clive Brook Volvo Ltd was formed in October 2007 to become the first privately owned Volvo dealership in Yorkshire for over 20 years. Clive Brook Volvo acquired the premises from the Harratts Group who had previously held the franchise in Bradford since 2002.

In January 2008 the New Clive Brook Volvo showroom was officially opened on Canal Road in Bradford, launching itself as the name for Volvo in the region.

In April 2015 we opened our 2nd Volvo Dealership on Leeds Road in Huddersfield after acquiring the premises again from the Harratts. The Volvo brand has certainly come a very long way from those early days and their current market share and aspirational plans for the future, make being a part of the Volvo journey a very exciting one.

With primary responsibility now for the Bradford, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Skipton, Halifax and North Leeds territories offering an executive 'collection and delivery' service has seen customers return to the business from throughout the region. From the north of The Peak District to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales Clive Brook Volvo will ensure a pleasurable buying and ownership experience for all existing and perspective Volvo owners.

After enjoying a record breaking first 12 years and winning consecutive Trading Standards award for 'Excellence in customer service' along the way, the company has grown from strength to strength. Consistently seen as one of the UK's largest Retail suppliers of new and pre owned Volvos.

Clive Brook Volvo is now firmly established in Bradford & Huddersfield and we are keen to ensure both new and existing customers receive a high level of service and a memorable customer experience throughout all areas of the dealership, finishing consistently in Volvos top Dealers for achievement of the highest levels of facility Standards, Customer satisfaction and business performance.

An interesting fact and one that you might not be aware of is that our Service Statement, originated in 2007, was derived from Disney's Management Principles! Yes Disney! “The Disney Way” outlines the 10 core principles that they have successfully implemented within the Disney empire and I took these principles and applied them to my own business to create my own Service Statement......

But what is a service statement? A service statement is a short description and often includes a general description of the organization, its function, and its objectives. Our 'Service Statement ' and its values have never been more so important than they are today and during the pandemic. Our Google reviews are a constant reminder of what customers expect from Clive Brook Volvo and when we get it right and on the odd occasion when we don't!

Life during lockdown has been a huge learning curve for us all and the lessons we have learnt and how we have tackled the re-opening processes to achieve a record breaking year - thanks to you our loyal and much valued customers.
