We are delighted to announce that approximately 30 guests including many family and friends took part in the Bracken Ghyll Golf Day on Thursday 20th August in memory of our beloved friend and colleague, Mark Craker.
The event was a great success and we managed to raise over £500 for St Gemma's Hospice who provided the best possible care for Mark during his illness. Donations can be made to St Gemma's by visiting https://www.st-gemma.co.uk/.
Mark had established a corporate membership/tee sponsor arrangement with Bracken Ghyll Golf Club for a number of years and we would like to thank the club for hosting the event. Special thanks also go to Steve Ward who managed the event and ensured fair play, 1st tee photo opportunities and the essential scoring!
Despite the challenges of social distancing there was time for a few
words in remembrance of Mark and close members of Marks family were
able to attend. A decision was made to make this an annual event with next years event planned for 12th August. Anyone wanting to take part please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prizes were provided by the family and the trophie will be retained by each winner for a year.
2020 Prizes were for :-
Longest Drive – Josh – 306 yards

Many thanks to everyone for making this such a memorable and special occasion.
