The newly launched eye-catching Volvo XC40 is set to take pride of place at Yorkshire retailer Clive Brook’s ride and drive event in the beautiful setting of the Bolton Abbey Estate.
With retail businesses in Bradford and Huddersfield, Clive Brook Volvo will be hosting around 100 local people throughout the day many of whom will experience the new Volvo compact SUV and What Car? 2018 Car of the Year, and 2018 European Car of the Year (Geneva Motor Show) for the first time following its unveiling in February.
Taking place on 29th March at the exclusive Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa in Skipton, guests will also have the option to drive the XC60, launched last year, and the XC90.
The day will include the opportunity to ‘get to know’ the vehicles better with presentations and Q&A sessions which will highlight the vehicles’ cutting-edge technology and advanced safety features including the ground-breaking City Safety system. The system applies automatic emergency braking when a pedestrian, cyclist or large animal is detected and includes steer assist which helps avoid or limit the severity of collisions at low speeds by assisting with steering such as when the motorist swerves to miss an obstacle.
The XC40 is Volvo’s first ever premium compact SUV. With prices starting at £27,610, the new XC40 features much of the advanced connectivity, entertainment and safety technology found on Volvo’s larger XC60, S90, V90 and XC90 models
Managing director Clive Brook commented: “The Devonshire Arms is a fantastic venue and a real treat for our guests. This is the fifth time we have held this event and each time we attract around 100 customers and potential buyers. We are expecting the new XC40 to steal the show this time.”
Attendance is by pre-booking only but anyone interested in test driving the XC40, XC60 or XC90 at the event can email Clive Brook at email@example.com (please note this does not confirm an appointment).
