The team at Huddersfield-based retailer, Clive Brook Volvo, is celebrating the first birthday of its popular monthly retro car meet-up.
Launched in October 2018, Huddersfield’s monthly Heritage Club has seen Volvo fanatics young and old bringing their retro models to the retailer to meet other vintage car fans, and enjoy a spot of breakfast while admiring the cars and sharing tips.
Over the past 12 months, Heritage Club members have travelled across the country for the monthly meet-ups, with one Volvo fan travelling 200 miles from Bournemouth to attend. Another member has an astonishing collection of 15 Volvos, including two Volvo limousines.
The special anniversary Heritage Club will be held at Clive Brook Volvo, on Leeds Road, on Saturday 12 October, from 8.30am to 12.30pm. Membership is completely free and open to anyone with retro Volvos aged 9 years or over.
Clive Brook, Managing Director at Clive Brook Volvo, said: “Over the last year, we’ve seen over 10 different Volvo models, solved numerous technical issues, and met over 20 Volvo enthusiasts full of anecdotes and questions, followed by delicious breakfast and coffee.
“The whole team has had a fantastic year meeting our fellow retro Volvo fans, helping them with their technical queries, and making friends along the way.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Volvo owners and admirers to our special anniversary heritage club for celebrations and plenty of birthday cake.”
