Volvo has and always will be about safety

At Clive Brook Volvo everything we do starts with safety. Whether that’s buying a car in our showroom or online or keeping your existing vehicle running. We want to reassure you that you can interact with us safely at every step of the way. ith that in mind we have created two videos which feature the new processes in place to ensure the safety of staff, and of customers.

It has been a challenging few months, but there is a real buzz in the showroom and we are proud that we now have 80% of our staff back at work. From very early on Volvo took the decision to issue personal protective equipment (PPE) along with social distancing guidance to aid in our re-opening and we have been able to create a VIP feel at our dealerships, rather than a 'crime scene', which we are seeing at other sites.

During lockdown and behind the scenes we launched our brand new end-to-end ecommerce website which allows you to purchase online or place a holding deposit of £99 on any vehicle. You can also now opt for contactless home delivery and in the event that we have to collect a part-exchange from a customer, all the relevant PPE will be worn for collection and the car will not be used for a period of 72 hours. Since re-opening our showrooms our customers have welcomed our ‘Appointment Only’ system which ensures a smooth running of the dealerships.

What can you expect when you visit our showroom?

Since opening our doors on 1st June we have implemented many measures to ensure that social distancing can be maintained.

When visiting the dealership there will be hand sanitiser at the entrance and protective screens at desks to help protect customers and staff. You can expect fewer models on the showroom floor to allow space for social distancing and floor markings to guide you around our one way system.

You’ll still be able to test drive a new or used Volvo, however this will take place without a member of the sales staff, so it’s important to remember to bring your driving licence and passport, to avoid any disappointment. For anyone who feels cautious about visiting the showroom, we can offer virtual video tours of cars. All cars are sanitised after test drives and after any service. Our cleaners are busy doing a tremendous job keeping our showrooms spotless and clean every day!.
